Are these homes real, and are the prices real?
Yes. Every home is a live listing from an Italian agency or portal, at the asking price shown. We link to the original listing so you can verify everything yourself, and we drop homes that get sold or change price.
Are you an agency? Do you take a commission?
No. We don't sell houses and we don't take a cent from agencies or buyers. You contact the agent directly with the details in the issue. The subscription is the only thing we charge for.
Why is a house in Italy so cheap?
Rural depopulation. Thousands of villages have more houses than people, and owners who inherited a second or third home would rather sell for €20,000 than keep paying tax on it. Most of these homes need some work; we tell you how much in each note.
Can I buy as a foreigner (US, UK, Latin America, Australia)?
In most cases yes. Italy allows purchases by citizens of countries with reciprocity agreements, which includes the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and the EU. You'll need an Italian tax code (codice fiscale), which is free and quick to get.
Is there a free version?
No. The whole point of the issue is the links and the contacts, and those are what we curate. You get a preview of the homes on Instagram every day; the Friday issue with the details is €9 a month, and you can cancel or ask for a refund within 30 days.
Is there a guarantee?
